tice® Clamp Lift Cycle Start Kits

Clamp Lift

(Shown Here are 5 of the dozens of kits available)

Model

The tice® line of Pneumatic Clamp Lift/Cycle Start Systems is designed to convert almost any make and model cycling machine from two pedal, manual operation, to single pedal power assisted operation. The single foot pedal is connected to a two position control. The first position allows the operator to lift and/or lower the work clamp. The second position starts the sewing cycle.

Features/Benefits

TRAINING TIME AND DIRECT LABOR COST REDUCED. By requiring the operator to use only one foot, less dexterity is required. The operator can focus on the seam, not the machine's function. Because lower skilled labor can be used, labor cost is reduced.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY. Operator fatigue is reduced, so productivity increases.

REDUCED MAINTENANCE. Fewer needles and clamps get broken. Fewer machine jams occur.

CONSERVES SCARCE CAPITAL. New life is given to old machines. No need to replace older machines simply because they do not have this feature or higher priced electronic controls.

SIMPLE, QUICK INSTALLATION. Takes less than one hour and no special tools are required. Most use existing holes in the sewing machine.

Operation

When the operator depresses the foot pedal to the first position, the work clamp is lowered. Releasing the first position allows the work clamp to be lifted so the work can be readjusted. Depressing the foot pedal to the second position activates the machine start cycle.

Applications

The tice® line of pneumatic Clamp Lift/Cycle Start Systems can be installed on all types of cycling machines such as tackers, buttonhole machines, button sew machines, label sewers, dart tackers and many more.

Options

Three-position foot control for split clamp operations such as label sewing.
